Sample Requirements

To ensure successful data collection, samples should satisfy the following criteria:

  • Properly vitrified cryo-EM grids
  • Uniform vitreous ice
  • Minimal crystalline ice contamination
  • Appropriate particle concentration
  • Biochemically homogeneous samples
  • Stable sample preparation and storage
  • Cryogenic transport in suitable shipping containers
